Correction - Workbook Exercices

Hey guys!

I'm uploading videos with the correction of the exercises. In a few minutes you will have the first one uploaded here. I will do the same with the others when I have them ready, so stay tune!

It will take me a while, but I'm here working for you and everything will be done throughout the next hours. Be patient, everything is coming!

Unit 1 - Project - Travel Agency

Unit 1 – The Travel Agency:

• 2 weeks – 19th October, 2015
• Groups of 4-5 people
• 2 employees - 2/3 customers
• Writing – Speaking - Vocabulary
• Send me the texts and the dialogues throughout the platform.

Create one panel: Company’s logo – Catchy name.

• A few images.
• Cardboard Din’A3.
• Use the computer if you want to (gimp, photoshop, etc.).

Create 2 leaflets: 800 words in total - including timetables, prices, etc.

• 1st face: (cover)

1. Company’s logo / name
2. An image of the trip that is offered.

• 2nd and 3rd faces:

1. Description of the trip – check catalogues
2. A few images of the trip (5 is the minimum)
3. Prices and dates 

• 4th face: (back cover)

1. Small company’s logo
2. Contact details

Dialogues:

• Send me the dialogues.
• 5 minutes long – approx.
• Learn the dialogues or use notes – if you learn it by heart gives you extra marks.
• A few ideas: honeymoon, School trip, company’s congress, etc.

1. Firstly, offer a trip/journey the customers won’t accept, but explain every single detail about it.
2. Secondly, offer the trip/journey which will suit the customers.
3. Use the vocabulary we learnt throughout the lesson and include it in the dialogues.
4. Simulate you phone to book flight tickets or a cruise.

Costumes:

• Try to be original and create a travel agency’s uniform for the employees. Use whatever you want to, in order to recreate the roleplaying.
• The customers can also use costumes if you want to.

Evaluation Criteria:

• Grammar on the writing and Speaking.
• Accuracy to the real life simulation.
• Costumes and items.
• Originality.

o Professionalism in the company’s images and the employees.
